Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Virginia. The program drove an estimated 147 million Americans to collect quarters. Philadelphia's mint — the nation's first — has produced coins without interruption since its founding in 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $0 to $5 depending on grade and condition.
