Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: Blunt tail 9. The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1964 10¢ Pr WDDO-010. A very close spread from towards the center shows on the designer's initials and slightly on IGWT and the date. Die scratch on the rim above the LI in LIBERTY. Die gouge left of the I in IN. Die gouge left of the E in LIBERTY. Reverse: Heavy die scratches on the rim concentrated near the left dot. Thin NW/SE die scratch from the first T in STATES to the rim. Thin NE/SW die scratch left of the E in STATES. Die gouge below the T in UNITED. Die gouge left of the top of the A in STATES. Die gouge above the F in OF. Die gouge below the left side of the E in DIME.
