Proof Roosevelt Dimes from 1964 produced an array of doubled die varieties, and WDDR-019 is distinguished by its association with another die variety on the same coin. The Wexler Team's documentation reveals that the obverse die of this proof is separately listed as 1964 10-cent Proof WDDO-003 — a Class V counterclockwise spread from a pivot at approximately the 11 o'clock position, showing doubling on the date and designer John R. Sinnock's initials "JS." This means any specimen of WDDR-019 simultaneously exhibits the WDDO-003 doubled die obverse, creating a doubled-die-on-both-sides combination that proof die variety collectors find exceptionally desirable. A pointed tail on the numeral 9 serves as a key obverse die marker for attribution.
