Error
Description
A very close CW spread from a pivot at 2:00 shows on IN and the TR of TRUST. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch extends ESE from the top right side of the B in LIBERTY. A small die gouge can be found just to the right of the lower Y in LIBERTY. A small die gouge can be found SW of the bottom of the ribbon. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die files as 1945 25¢ WDDR-002. A spread towards the center shows on the letters of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the letters of QUARTER DOLLAR, and the ends of the branches. A small die gouge touches the lower left side of the I in UNITED. A short die scratch runs northeast from the center of the right side of the vertical bar of the D in UNITED. A curving die scratch can be found above the left branch end. Obverse:
