Description

The 1944 Washington Quarter DDO-032 is attributed by VarietyVista with die codes UVC-0408 and DMR-033, struck at Philadelphia in 90% silver. The doubling on the obverse produces a light spread on LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date — a broad but moderate effect covering the major obverse legends. Three die stages are documented with notable reverse detail across stages. Stage A is an early die state (unconfirmed).
