ErrorDescription
A clockwise spread from a pivot at about 2:00 shows on the outer letters of IN GOD WE TRUST. Master die doubling shows on the underside of the nose and on Washington’s lower ear.Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge shows just above the queue ribbon. A small die gouge can be found above the right end of the horizontal crossbar of the 2nd 4 in the date. Reverse: A die gouge can be found above the bottom loop of the 1st S in STATES. Die gouges can be found between the bottoms of the 1st S and 1st T of STATES. A die gouge extends southwest from the upper left 1st T of STATES.Submitted By: Tony RussoCross References: Crawford: CDDO-001 Obverse: A die crack runs east through the upper forehead and into the hair extending to the Y in LIBERTY.
