Description
A CW spread from a pivot at about 1:00 shows on IGWT, the LIB of LIBERTY, the lower queue, the designer’s initials, and the date. Master die doubling shows on the underside of the nose and on Washington’s lower ear.Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs east across the upper forehead and into the hair. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: A die crack runs through the center of the URIBU in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs through the upper leaves above the ARTE of QUARTER.Submitted By: John A.
