Representing a modern hub doubling discovery, WWHO-001 displays strong doubling to the east on the eye of the Anna May Wong Quarter obverse design. The variety occurs on the normal obverse master die — it is not associated with WMDO-001 — and because the doubling originated at the working hub stage, specific die markers will vary among the different working dies affected by this hub. Originally submitted by Tanner Scott, the variety has been confirmed on 2022-P quarters from the Mankiller, Otero-Warren, and Wong reverse designs, demonstrating that this single hub served multiple production runs across the American Women Quarter Program.
