Second VarietyVista-cataloged doubled die obverse for the 2020 Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve quarter, VDDO-002 delivers strong spread to the west on LIBERTY, QUARTER, and UNITED STATES OF — three prominent inscriptions all carrying visible hub doubling displaced in the same westward direction. Assigned preliminary placeholder codes UVC-???? and DMR-00? indicating this variety has not yet received final Unique Variety Code or Die Marriage Reference assignments, the cataloging is associated with Reverse Die Variety RDV-053. The Salt River Bay quarter honors a U.S. Virgin Islands site within the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The strong westward spread across multiple widely separated inscriptions indicates substantial uniform hub displacement during die manufacture, producing one of the more visually prominent doubled die obverses in the ATB series.
