Description

First in the VarietyVista doubled die reverse catalog for a 2013 America the Beautiful quarter, this variety shows a medium spread in the east direction on the lower right branches and leaves of the design. Cataloged under UVC-2011 and DMR-002, the die progressed through Stage A with both the reverse and obverse in early die state, Stage B at mid-die state (unconfirmed), and Stage C at late die state (unconfirmed). The DDR-001 designation as the first cataloged doubled die reverse for this issue indicates it was the earliest discovery reported and confirmed for the date.
