2000 Atypical Die Clash ADC-10C-2000-05
Error
Description
ADC-10c-2000P-05 Below is a new 2000P Roosevelt Dime clash listing. It is very similar to die 03 , when attributing, scrutinize markers and clash marks positions. P|On the obverse we see parts of EP L from E PLURIBUS UNUM, part of ON from ONE and some of the leaves from the olive branch are seen in behind and on Roosevelt’s face. The negative shape of the oak leaves can also be clearly seen below the ear and parts of the flames from the torch appear below the chin. There are heavy abrasion marks on the reverse that might be pre-clash. There is also a mystery dent/gouge through STATES which resembles the design rim and could suggest an earlier tilted misaligned die clash but there is no conclusive evidence in the way of design transfer.
