Description

A strong clockwise spread on this 1964 Washington quarter reverse produces visible doubling on QUARTER DOLLAR, UNITED, and the surrounding wreath — making WDDR-003 one of the more dramatic reverses in the series. Die stage markers span two obverse stages: Stage A shows a die crack across the base of the bust extending into the lower queue; Stage B shows that crack extending into the fields on both sides of the bust.
