Description

Class II distorted hub doubling on the 1964 Proof Jefferson Nickel WDDO-007 manifests as close doubling on the star and the date — two of the most readily examined obverse elements. The obverse carries a diagnostic short die gouge on the upper right portion of Jefferson's forehead, while the reverse shows a die dot to the upper right of the small right window on Monticello.
