1963 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-005

Description

WDDR-005 on the 1963 Proof Washington Quarter shows a strong Class II spread toward the center on the lower serifs of QUARTER DOLLAR, UNITED, and AMERICA, both branches of the olive and arrow design, the lower portions of both eagle legs, and the lower feathers. Die Markers: Obverse: Several curved die scratches can be found on the base of the bust north of the 9 in the date. Reverse: A die scratch runs NW/SE on the center arrow feather. A die scratch runs from the last tail feather on the right to the leave.
