Description

The primary doubled die obverse for the 1962-D Washington Quarter, WDDO-001 displays a Class II spread directed toward the center on LIBERTY — a distinctive diagnostic where hub distortion pulls the secondary contours inward rather than in a uniform directional spread. Class II distorted hub doubling creates non-uniform displacement across the die face, and the inward pull on LIBERTY's letters provides a reliable attribution target.
