This variety was discovered on the 1957 (D) Roosevelt Dime, part of the Roosevelt Silver Dimes 1946-1964 series. Die markers: UVC-300 DMR-004 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Heavy abrasion on Left side of Reverse – MDS Numerous die scratches East-West on Reverse Numerous die scratches North-South on Obverse – MDS Stage C: Circular die scratch pattern in mintmark area – LDS Obverse is LDS Stage D: Numerous die scratches North-South on Reverse – VLDS Obverse is VLDS.
