Description

S/S WestDie Markers: Obverse: Long die scratch extends SE from the I in LIBERTY. E/W die scratch connects the 1 and 9 in the date. Multiple E/W die scratches below GOD. Many N/S die scratches through Jefferson's forehead and face. Die gouge above the left side of the 4 in the date. Reverse: Many N/S die scratches throughout the reverse. Strong N/S die scratch through the B in PLURIBUS.Submitted By: Brian RibarCross References: None known Obverse: Die scratches run SSE from the underside of the chin. Reverse: A small die gouge can be found to the right of the lower E in EPU. A die scratch runs SSW from the bottom of the I in MONTICELLO. A strong die scratch runs SSW/NNE to the left of the E in MONTICELLO. Numerous die scratches run mostly N/S through Monticello.
