1947-D Repunched Mintmark RPM-003

Description

The 1947-D Roosevelt dime RPM-003 documents a repunched mint mark on one of the earliest issues in John R. Sinnock's design series, launched in 1946 on 90% silver planchets. The cross-references record this as a D over D West repunch — the secondary D was displaced to the west before the final mint mark position was applied.
