The obverse shows a spread towards the center on LIBERTY and the profile, classified as Type I. A short die scratch runs west from just under the nose, serving as the primary obverse pickup point. The reverse of this same die pair is independently cataloged as WDDR-001 in the Wexler Doubled Die Files, exhibiting its own Class II spread towards the center on ONE DIME, with a small die gouge inside the upper E in ONE.
