VarietyVista assigned identifiers UVC-082 and DMR-046, cataloging three die stages: Stage A at early die state (unconfirmed), Stage B at mid die state (unconfirmed), and Stage C where both obverse and reverse surfaces are confirmed at late die state. The LDS verification for Stage C establishes that this die continued in service well beyond its optimal production window, providing collectors with a documented late-state anchor for die state analysis. John R. Sinnock's Roosevelt dime obverse debuted in 1946, and Denver's first-year production of approximately 61.04 million pieces required dozens of obverse dies — a volume that statistically increased the probability of hub doubling events surviving into production.
