The 1945-S Repunched Mintmark RPM-027 displays repunched mintmark diagnostics from the manual mintmark application process, where a corrective punch was needed after initial misplacement. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, Die markers: UVC-341 DMR-029 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: Die crack Right dome window South between pillar # 3 and # 4 – LDS Die gouge East-West across upper hair – LDS Stage D: Die crack from Right dome extends to rim at K-6:00 – VLDS Die crack from mintmark North to rim through B of PLURIBUS Die crack on lower bust – VVLDS.
