Description
Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Shows a full secondary mintmark inside and outside the primary mintmark. Die scratch ESE from the rim above the E of WE. Obverse Stage B: Weak abraded secondary mintmark. A portion of a secondary vertical bar shows inside the primary mintmark. Stage A marker still present. Obverse Stage C: Only a weak secondary curve shows NE of the primary mintmark. Stage A markers still present. Reverse Stage A: Series of ESE/WSW die scratches at the underside ell at the upper and middle horizontal bars of the E in CENT. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers still present.
