Description
1928-S VAM-10 Slightly Doubled WE TR to Right, Medium High S Discovered by Jeff Oxman, November 2006. Revised March 2017 10 II 8 · B2b (Slightly Doubled WE TR to Right, Medium High S) I-2 R-5 Obverse II 8– Slightly doubled WE TR to right, back of lower hair, back of neck and designer’s initials. Die marker– Vertical die file lines above and below TR. Reverse B2b– Micro I S mint mark set medium high. Die marker– Faint double curved lines on third from bottom ray below tail feathers. Same reverse die as for VAM 3, but later die state. Die 2 -Die marker - Polishing line on second from bottom ray below tail feathers. Comments: 1. Discovery of this obverse paired with second reverse die March 2017, also with medium high mm.
