1889-P VAM-29 Doubled Right Wreath Discovered by Marc Serafine, July 2000. 29 III2 26 C3d (Doubled Right Wreath) (190) Obverse III2 26 - Raised curved wedge between denticles below second 8. Possible top of 8 but evidence not conclusive. Reverse C3d - Slight doubling of edge of some leaves in right wreath toward rim, top inside of wreath bow, lower edge of second arrow feather from bottom and lower inside of W in We. Raised worm-like thread impression at top of eagle's right wing. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: 1. Same as former [[1889-P VAM-47. 2. There are Four Die Sequences to VAM-29: A. Die Sequence #1. Unclashed Obverse/Reverse. B. Die Sequence #2. Clashed Obverse with possible planchet metal or 8 in the denticles. Reverse is clashed with a Raised worm like thread impression on Eagles Right wing. C. Die Sequence #3. Clashed Obverse Die. Reverse is clashed with only the lower half of the raised worm like thread impression visible. D. Die Sequence #4. Cashed Obverse die with no planchet metal or 8 in the denticles. Reverse is clashed with no raised worm like thread impression visible.
