1921-P Peace VAM-1G Matte Proof Obverse Die with Polishing Lines Discovered by David Close, February 2005. 1G I 1 · Aa (Matte Proof Obverse Die with Polishing Lines) Obverse I 1– Same obverse die as VAM 1F used for matte proof and business strike coins. Reverse Aa– Different die than used for matte proof coins. Some light die polishing lines around eagle’s feet and upper left field. Die markers– Heavy diagonal polishing line to right of lower most olive leaf and heavy oblique polishing line to right of lower hill right end. Comments:
