1901-O VAM-37 Tripled Eyelid, Slanted Date, 2 Olive Reverse Discovered by Herb Zepke, March 2003. 37 III216 · C4/C3o (Tripled Eyelid, Slanted Date, 2 Olive Reverse) (181) Obverse III216– Tripled eyelid. Doubled bottom of earlobe and lower right outside, hair above ear, left edge of upper and lower cotton leaves and slightly on nose bridge. Date slanted in normal lateral position with right 1 higher than left 1. Reverse C4/C3o– Extra olive to right of olive connected to olive branch. Dbling at lower base of left & lower olive leaf clusters, back of lower arow head, top feathers of eagle’s left wing and right side of eagles’ nostril and eye. Slight doubling of UNITED bottom inside towards rim and outer edge of top leaves of left wreath. III O mint mark centered with slight set to right. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments:
