1898-S VAM-1B Die Break Cap Top Discovery 2013 1B III2 1 - C3a (Die Break Cap Top ) (187) Obverse III2 1 - Die crack in field above Phrygian cap with displaced field break. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The Photos below are of the discovery piece - the coin is a bit rough but.....Any more when I send LVA a coin like this he says that he does not do coin this worn/dirty and that I should find a better one...This coin is a great example why - see the second 8 - is it doubled or not????'' VAM 5 is an evil mimic of this break!
