The marriage with the leg gouges is most likely correctly identified as 1882-S VAM-14 in spite of the LVA plates.- vampicker Later die stages have a PL obverse with aggressive polishing in the denticles, leaving almost a convex field and weak denticles. Reverse shared with VAM 44.
