Description
1882-P VAM-24A Doubled 882, Polished Obverse Doubled, Pitting Liberty Head Discovery 2017 by "CascadeChris" Simpson. 24A III2 23 - C3a (Doubled 882, Polished Obverse Doubled, Pitting Liberty Head) (181) Obverse III2 23 - Die a little overpolished at bottom with MPD below left 8 polished away. Reverse C3a - Die marker - Polishing lines at eagle left leg. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Look for the pitting in the top of Liberty's ear. The "Plate Photo" is of that which is terribly hard to see. This is a fairly bogus listing as all 1882-P VAM-24 have pitting on Liberty's head (esp. the ear area).
