1882-P VAM-1I Metal in Date Discovery 2014 1I III2 1 - C3a (Metal in Date ) (180) Obverse III2 1 - Raised metal with polishing lines in right side of lower loop of both 8's and in entire both loops of 2. Left 8 has raised dot on top right inside of upper loop and right 8 has thin band at right inside of top loop/ Similar metal in 882 of VAM 1C/20 and 1882-O VAMs 9/14/17 from hub defect. Die marker - Heavy vertical polishing line at left end of Phrygian cap ribbon. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: EDS 1882-P VAM-1D2 obverse.
