Description
1881-O VAM-12 O/O Lower Right Discovered by Jim Baxter, February 1977. 12 III2 1 ∙ C3j (O/O Lower Right) (176) Obverse III2 1 - Normal die Reverse C3j - Mint mark doubled on right side of opening as a thin vertical bar curving to the left at the bottom of the opening. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The second 1 is doubled on the right side as a notch near the top and the bottom of the vertical shaft. The reverse has several detached leaves in the left wreath. 1881-O VAM-12 seems to be the only use of either die.
