Description
1879-S VAM-22 Doubled Date Discovered by Jim Baxter, February 1978. 22 III2 11 ∙ C3b (Doubled Date) (183) I-2 R-3 Obverse III2 11 – Entire date is doubled. 1 is doubled at very top and top right of vertical shaft. 8 is doubled at top outside of upper loop and bottom right outside of lower loop. 7 is doubled below crossbar and on right side of vertical shaft. 9 is doubled on left outside of both loops. Reverse C3b – Centered IV S mint mark tilted to left.
