Medium die chip on left wreath leaf opposite U in UNITED Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: 1879-S VAM-38, 1879-S VAM-122, 1879-S VAM-27, 1879-S VAM-18, 1879-S VAM-18A, 1879-S VAM-18B, 1879-S VAM-85, 1880-S VAM-124 Comments: Exact same reverse die used for 1879-S VAM-18, 1879-S VAM-18A, 1879-S VAM-18B, 1879-S VAM-27, 1879-S VAM-38, 1879-S VAM-85, 1879-S VAM-122 & 1880-S VAM-124. Only 1879-S VAM-85 and 18B have the die chip on the reverse leaf as well as 1880-S VAM-124.
