Description
1879-S VAM-16B Doubled 9, Polished Reverse Discovered by Brian Raines, May 21, 2009 16B III2 3 - C3a (Doubled 9, Polished Reverse) (177) I-2 R-5 Reverse C3a - Polished die with fine vertical lines and field showing thru lower tail feathers. Very slightly doubled bottom inside of AMERI. Overpolished reverse. Arrowheads, olives leaves, outer wreath leaves, and middle tailfeather severely polished down.
