The 2020 (S) Proof Basketball Hall of Fame Commemorative Half Dollar is a proof commemorative half dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint. Part of the Basketball Hall of Fame three-coin curved program, this half dollar shares the same dynamic design as the dollar. The obverse features three basketball players reaching for a ball, while the reverse displays a basketball passing through the net. Designed by Justin Kunz (obverse) and Donna Weaver (reverse). Struck in nickel clad copper-n, 30.6 mm in diameter. Cataloged as PCGS #812978. The Basketball Hall of Fame half dollar extends the curved-coin format to a more accessible denomination and was available in the Mint's first-ever colorized finish.
