The 2020 (D) Basketball Hall of Fame Commemorative Half Dollar is a commemorative half dollar struck at the Denver Mint. Part of the Basketball Hall of Fame three-coin curved program, this half dollar shares the same dynamic design as the dollar. The obverse features three basketball players reaching for a ball, while the reverse displays a basketball passing through the net. Designed by Justin Kunz (obverse) and Donna Weaver (reverse). Struck in nickel clad copper-n. Cataloged as PCGS #812977. The Basketball Hall of Fame half dollar extends the curved-coin format to a more accessible denomination and was available in the Mint's first-ever colorized finish.
