The Ozark Riverways reverse, designed by Ronald D. Sanders and sculpted by Joseph Menna, depicts a river scene with a canoeist navigating through the Missouri Ozarks — a composition that includes water surface texture, rocky bluffs, tree canopy, and the human figure, each providing distinct surface characteristics where hub doubling can manifest differently. Water textures and rock faces tend to show doubling as shifted contour lines, while the canoeist figure and surrounding lettering produce more conventional doubled-outline effects.
