Description

A doubled die reverse on the 2016 Philadelphia Jefferson nickel, VDDR-006 exhibits medium spread to the east, creating an extra left central doorway side on the Monticello facade. The Jefferson nickel reverse, redesigned in 2006 by Jamie Franki to restore Felix Schlag's original front-elevation view of Thomas Jefferson's Virginia estate, features intricate architectural lines that readily reveal hub doubling.
