Second reverse pre-cud documented for the 2006-P North Dakota State Quarter, PC-25c-2006P-02R(ND) records an early-stage die rim fracture on one of the America the Beautiful quarter series' predecessors — the 50 State Quarters Program that ran from 1999 through 2008. North Dakota was the 39th state to be honored in the program, with its reverse design featuring two American bison grazing on the North Dakota badlands with a sun rising over rugged buttes in the background, accompanied by the inscription "North Dakota" and the state's year of admission, 1889.
