Description
Extra thickness shows on LIBERTY with notches on the upper left of the letters. Light extra thickness also shows on the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found below the L in LIBERTY. A small die gouge can be found to the left of the lower I of IN. A die crack runs NW from the eyebrow. A die crack can be found on the lower nose just above the nostril. Heavy die cracks and die chips can be found in the hair on the back of the head. A die chip can be found on the top of the head. Reverse: A horizontal die scratch can be found to the right of the upper N in CENT. A small die gouge can be found between the lower T and A in STATES. A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the 12th column. Short die cracks can be found at the tops of the first two columns. A short die crack can be found north of the 4th column. Obverse:
