Description

For the 2002-D Indiana State Quarter, this WDDO-001 documents the first cataloged doubled die obverse, recording a hubbing error on the shared Washington obverse of the nineteenth state quarter release. Indiana, admitted in 1816, received its quarter in 2002 with a reverse designed by Donna Weaver featuring a race car superimposed over a state outline surrounded by nineteen stars representing Indiana's order of admission.
