Description
ADC-10c-2001-02 This 2001P Roosevelt dime has underwent a strong clash event that left unabraded marks on both the obverse and reverse dies. The coin and images are courtesy of Phil Alisauskas. The above image shows the clash marks left by the laurel branch in the field in front of Roosevelt’s nose. The image above and to the left shows the clash left by Roosevelt’s nose as it passes through the laurel branch. The image to the above right is the base of Roosevelt’s bust. The image to the above left shows the clash mark left by the top of Roosevelt’s head as it passes through the E of ONE and the D of DIME. The image to the above right shows the clash mark left by the back of Roosevelt’s head as it passes through the oak leaves.
