Description

Cataloged by the Wexler Team, WDDO-002 on the 1995 Denver Mint Lincoln Memorial Cent exhibits Class V counterclockwise spread, where the hub rotated slightly between impressions to produce angular displacement on affected design elements. The CCW rotational doubling creates secondary impressions offset along an arc relative to the primary design, distinguishing this from the linear directional spreads of other doubled die classes. Victor David Brenner's Lincoln portrait provides the obverse framework where the rotational hub displacement generates recognizable doubled contours.
