Description

The 1992 (P) XXV Olympiad (Barcelona) Commemorative Half Dollar is a half dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Modern Commemorative Half Dollars (1982-Date) series. The U.S. Mint produced 161,607 examples, making this the lower-mintage of the two mint variants. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue and the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Struck after the transition from silver to clad coinage, as the Mint adapted to modern production methods and record-breaking mintages.
