The practical implication is that WWHR varieties can potentially be found struck from multiple different dies, each showing the same hub doubling but with different individual die markers. On this variety, a spread towards the rim shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, increasing in magnitude from left to right, with additional doubling visible on the right dot and the first A in AMERICA.
