Cataloged by the Wexler Team as 1968-S 25¢ Pr WDDR-002 and cross-referenced as Crawford CDDR-001, this proof Washington Quarter exhibits a very close counterclockwise (CCW) spread on USA and QUARTER DOLLAR — a rotational doubling pattern where the secondary hub impression was pivoted slightly counterclockwise relative to the primary, creating a subtle arc of displacement that increases with distance from the rotation center. The "very close" descriptor indicates the separation between primary and secondary images is minimal, requiring careful examination under higher magnification to confirm.
