Description
The 1967 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1967 Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the S in TRUST. Reverse: A die scratch runs west from the top right of the T in CENT.
