Description

Cataloged by VarietyVista with universal variety code UVC-522 and die marriage record DMR-012, this 1954 San Francisco Lincoln wheat cent carries a repunched mintmark where the S was impressed into the die more than once, leaving overlapping or displaced letter traces near the mintmark position. Three documented die stages track the life of this die pair.
