1950-S Repunched Mintmark RPM-016

Description

RPM-016 on the 1950 (S) Lincoln Wheat Cent is a repunched mintmark variety attributed by VarietyVista. Die markers: UVC-1183 and DMR-019. Stage A is early die state (unconfirmed). The S mintmark appears over a previous S in a shifted position, the result of the manual mintmark punching process used before hub-punched mintmarks were standardized.
