Description

DDO-001 of the 1949-D Lincoln wheat cent presents medium doubling spread to the northeast on the 4 of the date. Cataloged under UVC-1775 and DMR-012, this variety is tracked across three die stages. Stage A is the early die state, characterized by die scratches next to the hair under GOD and die scratches through UNITED and OF on the reverse. Stage B is recorded as mid-die state but remains unconfirmed. Stage C is listed as late die state, also unconfirmed.
